چکیده
Abstract Optical parametric amplification (OPA) is a nonlinear process through which low-power input wave amplified by extracting energy from an interaction medium that energized high-intensity pump wave. For significant of wave, sufficiently long required, usually on the order few centimeters. Therefore, in small scale, OPA considered unfeasible, and this prevents it being employed micro nanoscale devices. There have been recent studies proposed microscale use micro-resonators. However, there currently no study has suggested high-gain OPA, could be quite useful for implementing optical This aims to show feasible concurrent maximization induced electric density polarization (nonlinear coupling strength) within medium, enables very high amount transferred sufficient amplify with gain factor comparable those provided centimeter scale crystals. The computational results our model match experimental ones context sum-harmonic generation, wave-mixing gives rise accuracy 97.6%. make room further investigation adaptive optics and/or programming algorithms enhancement process.

متن کاملParametric amplification with weak-link nonlinearity in superconducting microresonators
Nonlinear kinetic inductance in a high Q superconducting coplanar waveguide microresonator can cause a bifurcation of the resonance curve. Near the critical pumping power and frequency for bifurcation, large parametric gain is observed for signals in the frequency band near resonance. We show experimental results on signal and intermodulation gain which are well described by a theory of the par...
متن کاملParametric Amplification and Cascaded-Nonlinearity Processes in Common Atomic System
For the first time, we study the parametric amplification process of multi-wave mixing (PA-MWM) signal and cascaded-nonlinearity process (CNP) in sodium vapors both theoretically and experimentally, based on a conventional phase-conjugate MWM and a self-diffraction four-wave mixing (SD-FWM) processes, which are pumped by laser or amplified spontaneous emission (ASE), respectively. For laser pum...
متن کاملParametric image amplification in optical cavities
We show the possibility of noiseless amplification of an optical image in cavities containing a parametric oscillator. We consider a confocal ring cavity with plane mirrors and compare with the case of planar cavity. In the latter case the system operates with severe spatial limitations, while in the confocal case, there is the possibility of preserving the signal-to-noise ratio while amplifyin...
متن کاملOptical Parametric Amplification with Periodically Poled KTiOPO4
This thesis explores the use of engineered nonlinear crystals from the KTiOPO4 (KTP) family as the gain material in optical parametric amplifiers (OPAs), with the aim to achieve more knowledge about the benefits and limitations of these devices. The work aims further at extending the possible applications of OPAs by constructing and investigating several efficient and well performing amplifiers...
